Flotation Vest AQUA - BALTIC

Flotation Vest - BALTIC AQUA

The Aqua flotation vest is a classic sailing vest for easy use in calm waters. Aqua has a buoyancy of 50N and is therefore classified as a buoyancy aid. The sailing vest is equipped with tie-down straps, waist straps with quick-release buckles and elastic in the side sections. Crotch straps and whistles are available as options. The life jacket is available in navy blue, UV yellow, red and blue, and the size range is 30-90+ kg.

Lifejackets with a load capacity of 50 newtons, sometimes called sailor's vests, have a slightly simpler design than life jackets. A 50N lifejacket keeps the wearer afloat, but does not have a collar to support the head.

The buoyancy force is more evenly distributed between the front and back of the vest, so it does not guarantee that an unconscious person will be turned to a lying position. The 50N life vest is therefore recommended for swimmers weighing at least 25 kg.
