The MFP has a bright, sunlight-readable 6-inch screen and includes the traditional Garmin CHIRP fishfinder and CHIRP ClearVü scanning sonar. The device is equipped with a factory-loaded base map around the world and is compatible with BlueChart g3 and advanced BlueChart g3 Vision edge maps with integrated Navionics data and automatic navigation technology1. Additional software Quickdraw Contours, thanks to the own maps created on the screen with contours every 30 cm during fishing. The device also has a built-in Wi-Fi module, so you can pair it with the ActiveCaptain application and gain access to OneChart services, which must purchase and download new maps. The ActiveCaptain app also provides access to notifications from your phone1, the ActiveCaptain community with call services and other special points, Quickdraw community data and more. The bow handle with detachable mechanism allows you to attach an easy photo of the device and take it with you.

Advantage thanks to Garmin CHIRP devices

Built-in fishfinder features of the ECHOMAP Plus 62cv include a traditional CHIRP fishfinder, the most advanced fishfinder feature available for anglers and sailors. A traditional CHIRP fishfinder provides resolution processing and discrimination because it focuses even more energy on the target than a traditional fishfinder. The device also supports the traditional fishfinder function when operated with Minn Kota® and MotorGuide® outboards with integrated transducers.

Clear scanned sonar images

Shown with a wide Garmin CHIRP ClearVü scanning sonar, images of objects under the boat are almost photographic in accuracy. This allows you to observe the available bottoms, objects and fish under water. In one of the converters, we were able to use the traditional CHIRP sonar and CHIRP ClearVü scanning sonar technologies from Garmin.

The Quickdraw Contours feature lets you create your own maps

Quickly create personalized on-screen maps of areas with contours every 30 cm and adjust them to your needs. These maps are yours - they are yours. You can download the data for yourself or share it with the Quickdraw community on Garmin Connect ™.

The ActiveCaptain application provides connectivity to the world

The universal ActiveCaptain application is free. On-board management management with almost total seats. It creates a simple and then advanced connection between a compatible mobile device and chartplotter, maps and the community. Thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi module, you can pair your multifunction device with the free ActiveCaptain application and gain access to OneChart services, which you can purchase, update and download new maps. The ActiveCaptain app also provides access to phone notifications, ActiveCaptain community, marina and other points of interest, Quickdraw community data and more.

SailAssist functions

SailAssist sailing features support such as layline, improved wind rose, compass heading lines and bottom courses. Quick access to information on real and apparent wind angles, speed and direction, as well as drift. To help you get the upper hand thanks to the maximum wind force range, a page with pre-race navigation directions containing information such as the virtual start line and data fields showing layline, time to start and regatta stopwatch.
