Buoyancy jacket GENUA 50N - BALTIC

Flotation Vest - BALTIC GENUA

The Genoa is an excellent buoyancy vest for versatile use, suitable for dinghy, kayak and general sailing. The Genoa is a slightly shorter model that does not reach all the way to the wearer's back. This, combined with the split floats, makes the vest very comfortable for both moving and sitting in it.

Zipper closure on the front and a quick-release buckle on the waist. Crotch straps and whistle as an option. Carrying capacity of 50N and is classified as a buoyancy aid. And a vest that has a displacement of 50 Newton is classified as a buoyancy aid and sometimes referred to as a sailing vest. They have a somewhat simpler design than life jackets.

The vest keeps you afloat with good positioning, but lacks a collar to support your head. The buoyancy force in it is more evenly distributed between the front and back, so it doesn't guarantee turning an unconscious person to a lying position. The 50N life jacket is therefore recommended for swimmers who weigh at least 25 kg.
