NMEA 2000 and Garmin Marine networks enable easy connection of all electronic marine devices - from radar and autopilots to cameras, devices and sounder to the front of the beam - controlled from the chartplotter and viewing on multiple screens. In addition, our unique OneHelm ™ system coordinates many other marine devices of other companies to provide full control over the systems - including digital switching, lighting, stabilization and more - conveniently on the chart plotter.

Full connectivity

The GPSMAP® 8412xsv navigation plotter is equipped with an advanced processor that allows you to quickly draw maps, better work in the network, image transfer and much more. The built-in Wi-Fi module allows you to pair with the free ActiveCaptain® application for access to OneChart ™, phone notifications1, Garmin Quickdraw ™ community data, and more. You can also control the image transmitted from the GC ™ 100 wireless camera and VIRB® sports cameras. With the ANT wireless technology, you can connect directly to the quatix® sea watch, wireless gWind ™ 2 transmitter and wireless remote controls.

Control the SmartMode station

The sonar, radar, cameras, multimedia and digital switching connected via the network can be controlled independently or via SmartMode. Thanks to SmartMode, everything is designed to quickly provide access to the information you need in demanding situations such as docking.

Special Sailing Features

To help you make informed decisions, Garmin SailAssist displays the most important data and pre-installer tips that will give you an edge. Other sailing functions are: layline, improved wind rose, direction and course lines over the bottom, as well as fields with real wind data and a current / tidal slide / hour. Indicator screens quickly provide important information, including real and apparent wind angle, direction and drift, real and apparent wind speeds, horizontal and vertical diagrams, and a data bar with customizable fields.
