The UV2R system is an advanced video recording solution developed by Ocean-Tech, designed for use by two divers. The rack-mounted version (19” 6U rack) offers user-friendly operation and allows for system expansion and upgrades, which sets it apart from competing solutions. The UV2R utilises state-of-the-art electronics, ensuring high-quality video and audio recording. Simply press the REC button on the control panel to start recording. Additionally, the system features a power backup function in the event of a mains power failure, which enhances operational reliability. The option to connect an additional monitor or television with an analogue input allows for convenient viewing of the image on an external screen. The audio input enables sound recording when an underwater communication system is connected, making the UV2R even more versatile. The UV2R model is fitted with a 12V (9Ah) gel battery, ensuring independence from external power sources. All controls and connections are located on the front panel, making the system easy to operate.
