XL4+ I Stage - Apeks

Apeks XL4+ First Stage is a breakthrough, innovative over-moulded first-stage endcap and environmental diaphragm that help to prevent ice build-up that can cause a first-stage free flow in extreme circumstances. It also protects the first stage from impact damage. The large surface area heat exchanger diaphragm clamp helps increase the gas temperature inside the first stage, improving cold water performance. Unique over-balanced diaphragm design – as the diver descends, the over-balancing feature allows the hose’s medium-pressure gas to increase faster than ambient. This results in superior performance at depth.
